The Puerto Madero Tub

Why must bathtubs be predominently white? Why must they be fiberglass, ceramic, or steel? The Puerto Madero tub seeks to answer that question with a simple “they don’t”. Named after one of the most relaxing days I’ve ever had, The Puerto Madero is all about taking it slow while surrounded by natural materials. The tub is constructed from bonded wooden blocks which are then milled to reveal its well planted profile.

The Verigated Console

Consoles are handy, but modern consoles can often be overserious. The Verigated Console seeks to do away with that notion while rewarding the careful observer with reason to smile. At first glance you’re greeted with a pleasing modernist box, but a playful leaf silhouette relieves the eyes while teasing with just a hint of color. Look again, and the cast aluminum feet will confirm that this piece takes its cues from nature.

Are you a space-challenged city dweller who yearns for the yard of your youth? monovich considered the dilemma and solved it with the Lawn Table. The Lawn Table is an acrylic table with a lower shelf designed to hold just enough soil to grow your own private green space. All you will ever need to maintain it is a pair of shears and a few extra minutes. Urbanites rejoice!

The Arbor Chair

The Arbor Chair maintains a low-slung lounging profile that is equally comfortable indoors or out. The lines are restrained and strong, but an accent color under the arm rests keeps the chair from taking itself too seriously.

Welcome to monovich : form! The purpose of this site is to give life to and showcase ideas I have for furniture and other accessories. I’m often inspired to design a piece based on a frustration I have or a moment of inspiration that hits when I’m least expecting it. Until now I’ve kept all my ideas to myself, but I’ve finally found the time to put them out there for the world to see first on this website, and perhaps later in a showroom or by commission.
